Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Soccer Team earned its fourth victory of the year with a 3-0 shutout of the Raiders of Rose State. With the victory, Coffeyville improved its 2025 overall record to 4-2-1.
The game kicked off with Coffeyville applying immediate pressure, and it paid off early when sophomore Fabrizio Kasperiski found the back of the net in the 3rd minute, giving the Ravens an early 1-0 lead. Coffeyville maintained offensive pressure throughout the match, registering a total of 10 shots, including 7 on target, while limiting Rose State to just 4 shots.
In the second half, Coffeyville extended its lead thanks to a goal from sophomore Kanata Takahashi in the 61st minute, assisted by freshman Alejandro Sevilla. The Ravens continued to press and added a third goal in the 73rd minute when freshman Ello Junior scored off a pass from freshman Samuel Montero, sealing the 3-0 victory.
Red Raven sophomore goalkeeper Tsubasa Nakamura was solid between the posts, recording two saves and earning the clean sheet.
Coffeyville will return to action on Wednesday, September 24th, with a home matchup against the Broncbusters of Garden City. Kick-off at Veterans Memorial Stadium is set for 4:00 p.m.
