Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Football Team scored 65 points in a 65-20 defeat of the Scotties of Highland. With the victory, the #10 NJCAA ranked Red Ravens improved their 2021 overall record to 3-0.
The Ravens thoroughly dismantled the Scotties of Highland. Coffeyville jumped out quickly on the Scotties scoring the first 28 points of the game before allowing Highland to score 14 points to pull within 28-14 at the half.
The second half was all Ravens as Coffeyville scored 30 unanswered in the third to pull away for the eventual 65-20 victory.

Raven quarterback Jakson Thomson went 14-23-1 for 315 yards and 5 touchdowns. Coffeyville's single-game record for TD passes in a game is six held by Riley Ferguson (2015) and Brock Gilmore (2014).
Coffeyville's Jacquez Barksdale had an even 100 yards rushing on 13 carries with 1 touchdown. Star Thomas and Dorian Lewis each also had a rushing touchdown for the Ravens.
