Kansas City, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Volleyball Team traveled to Kansas City Kansas, and lost 3-0 to the Blue Devils of Kansas City Community College. With the loss, the Red Ravens' overall record falls to 7-5 including a 1-2 mark in KJCCC matchups.
All three sets were similar scores with KCK winning 25-17 in the first set followed by 25-17 again in the second set and finally 25-15 in the third and final set.
Top performers for Coffeyville in the match included freshman Sarah Madsen who had a team-high 12 kills, freshman Patience Whittaker who led the team with 20 digs, and freshman setter Taylor Burns who managed a double-double with 20 assists and 10 digs.
Coffeyville will return to action on Friday, Sept 9th with a road match against Southwestern College JV. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 pm in Winfield KS.
