Coffeyville, Kan. - On a night that celebrated the Red Raven Women's Soccer Team's sophomores, Coffeyville lost a close battle to the #16 NJCAA-ranked Tigers of Cowley College 3-1. With the loss, the Red Ravens' overall record moves to 4-11 on the season.

After an early goal from Cowley, Red Raven sophomore Thayline Teixeira netted a goal with a strong leg from the right side to tie up the match 1-1 going into halftime.

The two teams battled through the majority of the second half with Cowley scoring two goals in the last ten minutes of the match to gain the 3-1 victory over Coffeyville.
