Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College women's basketball team was able to earn their fourth consecutive victory, defending home court in a 68-50 win over the Tigers of Fort Hays Tech Northwest.
Coffeyville opened the game on a 7-0 run, but struggled on the offensive end for the remainder of the first half, trailing by three points after the first quarter, and by one point at halftime.
CCC would find their groove in the third quarter, outscoring the Tigers 23-10 to grab control of the game. Sophomore Isabella Pehrson had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win, her first collegiate double-double.
Freshman Mahogany Butler had 12 points off the bench, while freshman Londyn Barrett added 10 points off the bench.
The Lady Ravens are 14-3 on the season, currently sitting third in the conference standings with an 8-3 record in league play. The team will battle Garden City tomorrow afternoon.
