Lady Ravens Travel to Hutchinson for Playoff Rematch

Red Raven women's basksetball takes the court for the first time in 2026, traveling to Hutchinson to face the Blue Dragons in a rematch of the Region VI semifinals from last season.

Coffeyville is 11-3 on the season, with a 5-3 record in league play. The Lady Dragons enter the matchup with a 12-3 record, and a 7-2 mark in conference play.

The two programs saw each other three times last season, with each team winning on their respective home court, before the Ravens won a defensive battle in the semifinals of the Region Tournament at Fort Hays State.

Freshman forward Esme Smith continues to make a strong case for the league's freshman of the year award, nearly averaging a double-double with 13.1 points per game and a conference-best 9.9 rebounds per game.

CCC hasn't played a game since a 72-55 win over Colby on December 13th, while Hutchinson is coming off a win over the same Trojans team, a 64-55 win on Saturday.
