Red Raven Esme Smith Earns KJCCC Div I Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honor

Red Raven freshman Esme Smith recorded double-doubles in both games for #25 Coffeyville last week as the CCC earned a road win at Seward County and a home win over Barton. In the Ravens' 55-45 victory at Seward, Smith scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while shooting 70 percent from the floor. Four days later, in Coffeyville's 67-45 victory over Barton, Smith excelled again with another 15-point, 11-rebound double-double to help the Red Ravens improve to 9-1 overall. For the season, Smith is averaging 13.3 points and 9.9 rebounds per contest.
