Coffeyville, Kan. - The #18 NJCAA-ranked Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Women's Basketball Team looked sharp in a 57-47 defeat of the Saints of Seward County. With the victory, the Red Ravens improved their 2025 overall schedule to 23-4 including a 18-4 KJCCC record. The 18-4 KJCCC record currently has Coffeyville in third place in the 13-team KJCCC Div I conference. With first-round byes going to the top four teams in the KJCCC standings and with only two regular-season KJCCC conference games remaining, the Red Ravens have secured a first-round bye in the Region 6/KJCCC postseason tournament.
Coffeyville led by as many as 19 in the game, leading Seward 39-20 midway through the third quarter. Seward came back some in the fourth quarter, but the Red Ravens prevailed with a 57-47 victory.
Game leaders for Coffeyville included sophomore forward Alexis Parker with 14 points and 7 rebounds and freshman forward Aubrey Hishaw with a 10-point 11 rebound double-double.
Coffeyville will return to action on Saturday, March 1st, with a road game schedule in Dodge City, Kansas. Tip-off against the Conquistadors of Dodge City is set for 1:00 p.m.
