Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Women's Basketball Team crushed the Pirates of Independence with an 83-29 Red Raven Victory. With the victory the Red Ravens improved their overall record to a perfect 8-0 including a 3-0 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) start.
From the opening tip-off, the Red Ravens dismantled the Independence Pirates jumping out to a 27-7 first quarter lead and a 38-11 halftime lead.
Red Raven game leaders included Karliey Parker with 14 points and 4 assists, Karys Washington with 13 points and 6 rebounds, and Aubrey Hishaw with 11 points and 8 rebounds.
Coffeyville will return to action on Wednesday, December 5th as they will travel to Hutchinson Kansas to play the #1-ranked Hutchinson Blue Dragons. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
