Red Raven Softball Picked to Finish 8th out of 11 in KJCCC Div II Preseason Coaches Poll

The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Softball team has been predicted to finish in 8th place this season in the KJCCC Division II Preseason Coaches Poll.

In the 8th position, Coffeyville was picked to finish ahead of Highland, Independence, and Fort Scott.  Johnson County was picked to finish first, with Cowley and KCK rounding out the top 3 predicted spots.

The Red Ravens are led by head coach Aston Friend, who will be in her second year at the helm of the Coffeyville softball program.  The Ravens are coming off a 2025 season that saw them post an overall record of 10-30 including a 5-17 conference record.

The 2026 Ravens kick off their season with a scheduled doubleheader in Wichita, Kansas, against the Friends University JV on Thursday, February 12th.  Coffeyville opens up its home schedule on Tuesday, February 24th, with a doubleheader against Metropolitan Community College.
