Overland Park, Kan. - The #19 Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Men's Soccer Team picked up a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) road victory with a 1-0 defeat of the Cavaliers of Johnson County. With the victory, the Red Ravens improved their 2022 overall record to 4-2 including a 1-0 KJCCC record.
The lone goal of the game came at the 38:30 mark of the second half and was a beautiful teardrop strike from Red Raven sophomore Jack Greenwood which was enabled by an excellent assist by Raven freshman Joao Gustavo.
Coffeyville will return to action this coming Monday (Sept 5th) with a home match scheduled against St Charles Community College in Veterans Memorial Stadium. Game time is set for 2:00 pm.
