Coffeyville, Kan. - The #14 NJCAA ranked Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Men's Basketball Team won their fifth game in a row as they defeated the Colby Trojans 91-68. With the victory, Coffeyville improves its overall record to 18-4 including a 12-4 record in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) games. The 12-4 KJCCC record currently has the Ravens sitting first atop the 13-team KJCCC Division I standings.
Coffeyville led early and often in this one building a 37-22 halftime lead on their way to the eventual 91-68 victory.
The Red Ravens had four players in double-figure scoring including freshman forward Hayden Brittingham with 19 points and 8 rebounds, freshman guard Landon Glasper with 15 points, sophomore forward Jordan Wildy with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and freshman guard Sotirios Nafpliotis with 10 points. Thirteen of Coffeyville's fifteen rostered players scored in the contest.
Coffeyville will return to action with a road game scheduled in El Dorado Kansas on Wednesday, February 1st against the #23 ranked Butler Community College Grizzlies. Tip-off in El Dorado is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
