The #3 ranked CCC men's basketball team lost to Seward in Liberal, KS on Saturday night. The loss drops the Men's record to 12-2 on the season and 5-1 in KJCCC play. In a rare off night by the Ravens the team only shot 38.6% from the field and 23.1% from beyond the arc.
Keon Queen had a big night for the Red Ravens putting up a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Miekkel Murray scored 13 points off the bench.
Coffeyville will have a chance to reset after the loss and head home for Christmas break. The Ravens will be back in action 20 days from now at the Hirsch Feed & Farm Supply Classic to take on Faith Prep at 3pm.
The loss keeps Ravens Head Coach Jay Herkleman 7 wins away from the Region VI all-time record for wins of 621 held by Francis Flax of Brown Mackie.
