Bio
Coach Richard was hired as the Red Ravens' Defensive Coordinator in the spring of 2025, bringing elite-level experience and a passion for developing young men to the Red Ravens’ program.
Prior to Coffeyville, Coach Richard coached the corners at Valdosta State University in 2023, following a stint as a Defensive Intern at the University of Texas in 2022.
Before entering the coaching ranks, Coach Rich had a successful professional playing career as a defensive back. Coach played professionally in the NFL for the LA Chargers from 2016–2020, as well as in the CFL with Ottawa RedBlacks from 2014–2015, and the Edmonton Elks in 2021.
He began his collegiate career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO) before transferring to Emporia State University, where he stood out as a physical, instinctive defensive back. A native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and graduate of Del City High School, Coach Rich brings the same intensity, discipline, and heart he played with into every practice and game.
