Red Raven Kicker/Punter Cooper Lee earns NJCAA & KJCCC Special Teams Player of the Week

Red Raven placekicker/punter Cooper Lee, a freshman from DeSoto Kansas, has earned National Junior College Special Teams player of the week honors along with the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference special teams player of the week honor for the opening week ending August 28th.

In the Red Raven loss to Hutchinson, Lee was critical in making a 37 yard field goal, punting 9 times for a total of 333 yards including 5 punts inside Hutchinson's 20 yard line.  He also kicked off 6 times for a total of 383 yards and 2 touchbacks.

With his 37 yard field goal and his deep directional punting, Lee was a tremendous asset to the comeback attempt by the Red Ravens.
