Alyssa Dawson Signs at Langston

Alyssa Dawson has signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her education and softball career at Langston University.

In her time as a Red Raven, Dawson has played in 70 games, posting a .299 batting average with a combined 54 hits, including 4 home runs.  As a pitcher, Dawson has earned 19 wins, throwing 257 innings, accumulating 65 strikeouts in her pitching career.

Dawson chose to attend CCC because she enjoys the size of the school and how it has the "small town feel". Her favorite part of CCC is how family oriented the school and program are.  Dawson chose Langston University because it is close to home.

At Langston, Dawson will study secondary education and plans to become a math teacher and coach softball in her future.

Dawson will be missed on and off the field by her coaches and teammates.  She has been a great asset to the Red Raven softball program and has set the bar high for pitchers and athletes to come.
