Red Ravens Take Two from Pioneers
Red Raven Softball swept the day against North Arkansas Community College Wednesday afternoon. The Red Ravens took the first game 9-8 and the second 10-1 in 5 innings.
In game one, sophomore starting pitcher Alyssa Dawson pitched a complete game giving up 9 hits, 2 walks, while striking out 1. Sophomore Danielle Stover was 3/4 at the plate for the game with a walk off single to score sophomore Makenzie Bill. Bill reached base on a double.  
In a shortened game two, Freshman Alexia Taylor snagged her first win giving up 4 hits and allowing only one run.
The Red Ravens racked up 32 hits on the day, 18 in the first and 14 in the second. Sophomore Anglea Nixon went 5/6 at the plate on the day, while sophomore Mateighia Tanner went 5 for 7 on the day, and sophomores Adrienne Myers and Reagan Bradley went 4 for 7, respectfully. Myers also collected 6 RBIs.
The Red Ravens Softball team will host Neosho County Community College on Monday March 12th at 2pm and 4pm to kick off conference play.
